For immediate release:

SAN FRANCISCO, CA: Logikcull.com, the market leading Discovery Automation platform, has announced a downloadable version of it’s flagship software: Logikcull 9.3.1.

The e-discovery market is dominated by legacy on-premise software companies. Statistically, 99.99983% of the AM Law 200 firms and Fortune 1,000 companies enjoy the use of on-premise e-discovery software created between the years 1991 and 2004. This trend doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon. And Logikcull, being quick to take action, realized this glaring market opportunity.

“The market spoke to us. While the idea of a no-software, no-hardware discovery solution makes sense for some people, we realized what the market really wanted and yearned for is packaged software.” says Andy Wilson, CEO of Logikcull. “There’s really nothing quite like opening up that software box and smelling the freshly burned DVD. It’s rejuvenating. Kind of like that feeling you get when you smell a new car. It just feels good.”

Buying, installing, and maintaining complex legal software is an art-form. In a recent poll, the leading industry analyst Gartfer found that the most popular products in the legal industry are usually the most complex, and the most expensive.

“It turns out that convenience, ease of use, and data security aren’t really all that important. People want to own their software. They want to install it, maintain it, and nurture it like their own child.” says Sheng Yang, CTO of Logikcull. “Relativity speaking, I mean relatively speaking, to build a big and successful business in the legal market has historically meant putting your software on a DVD and having a third party, like an e-discovery vendor, buy it and then charge like 10,000% markup to use it. So it’s pretty obvious to us that this was the right move. Sales are already up 666% since we released 9.3.1. And I can’t wait till we release 9.3.1.2 in Q3 of next year!”

Despite the promise of cloud-computing, with it’s elastic computing power and infinite storage capabilities, industry experts are predicting that the cloud is a passing fad. In a recent Twitter survey, 55 respondents voted 25:1 that owning software was more important than data security. Logikcull is now well positioned to offer both online and offline versions of Logikcull as the cloud fad passes.
