Folks, we are just two weeks away from Logikcull’s annual event, InHouse 2022, and we are pumped for everything we have in store. This is our third edition of the annual legal tech conference, and we’re lined up to have over 1,500 leaders from companies like Compass, Plaid, Coinbase, and Mastercard in attendance.
And it’s all virtual, which means you can attend from anywhere!
For two days on October 20 and 21, the most forward-thinking IT, ops, and legal leaders from a wide array of in-house legal departments will sit together (so to speak) to discuss strategies and share their best tips to amplify resources, “do more with less,” and successfully navigate periods of growth and change within organizations, even as a recession looms.
It was tough to narrow this list down to just 5 reasons you should attend this conference, but I’ve done my best.
1. Get Tips to Navigate a Recession
Things are tough all over. Even some celebrities have side hustles now. So what do you do if you’re in a position that’s typically seen as a cost center — like, I don’t know, legal ops — while your organization is tightening its belt?
We’ve got speakers addressing this issue throughout different sessions at InHouse. You’ll get tips on building, scaling, and demonstrating ROI in the face of a recession from eDiscovery rock star Amy Sellars of CBRE, as well as from leaders from Okta, Adobe, AstraZeneca, and Doordash.
In addition to discussing the effect of a recession on legal teams, Omar Sweiss of JusticeBid will be speaking with LaTrece Johnson of Palo Alto Networks and Lloyd Johnson of Chief Legal Executive about protecting DEI initiatives from being sacrificed in the face of economic strain. It promises to be a raw and insightful look into the struggles around implementing DEI initiatives in the legal context.
2. Burn Slack With Coinbase and Plaid
As we discussed in our latest release notes, Slack is an absolute monster of data. With over 1.5 billion messages generated per month and more than 600,000 organizations worldwide using it, the communications platform has become one of the main sources of evidence for disputes and investigations — and one of the worst headaches for most legal teams. So how do you handle eDiscovery in the face of all that data?
We’ve got a session for that! Join us for a chat with leaders from Plaid and Coinbase, who will share how they've conquered the main challenges presented by Slack in eDiscovery. You’ll get practical takeaways on everything from preserving data defensibly to conducting efficient collection and review processes on Slack data.
3. Find Out the Winners of This Year’s Culler Awards
At Logikcull, we love to recognize users who are breaking barriers and making a difference through their use of eDiscovery. Each year, we honor users with Culler Awards in three categories: Innovation, Excellence, and Impact. Check out last year’s nominees and winners for an idea of the users we’ve recognized in the past.
This year, all three categories are stacked with leaders from fantastic organizations like Cardinal Health, Syngenta, Pepperdine University, the City of Boston, UnCommon Law, and the UCLA Voting Rights Project, just to name a few.
Join us at the end of Day 2 to celebrate all the nominees and find out our winners!
4. Fun Original Content
Curious to see what happens when an Alexis Rose-type gets stranded on an alpaca farm? Or to meet the musician who presented us with this rider that is just… bananas? (Don’t tell him I used that word.)
Well, if you tune in to the event you’ll get to meet those characters and more during our presentation of the soon-to-be award-winning documentary, “Virtually Impossible: The Story of InHouse,” which will give you a behind-the-scenes look at what went into making this virtual event happen. Check out this preview (and follow us on TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram for more fun and funny content):
5. Learn About Logikcull’s Latest Show-Stopping Features
Of course we can’t have a user’s conference without updates on our latest features from our fearless leader, Logikcull Co-Founder and CEO Andy Wilson (who, incidentally, was also spotted at the aforementioned alpaca farm, but I digress).
On Day 2, Andy will be demoing some truly revolutionary new features. I don’t want to spoil anything, but let’s just say you might want to fix yourself this OCR cocktail to get ready.
Register now to get your passes for all this incredible content and save the sessions you want to attend in your calendar. Hope to see you there!
